If you use lodge pillows or lodge sized bolster cushions, we recommend using a MiteGuard lodge pillow cover as a key dust mite barrier bedding item. Because of a pillow's proximity to the nose, mouth and eyes, a MiteGuard pillow cover will reduce your exposure to dust mite allergen particles as you sleep, allowing you to breathe more easily.
For cushion users, the action of adjusting your position against the cushion or using it to bolster your head and shoulders, can release allergen particles into the air around you. A MiteGuard lodge pillow protector will stop that from happening, allowing you to rest easy.
The 3.5-micron natural cotton micro-weave fabric makes our covers effective, breathable, durable and comfortable to sleep on.
The zip enclosure is guarded by a small closed section at each end, and protective flaps both under and on top of the zip to stop dust mites or allergen particles getting through. These features add to your safety and comfort as you sleep.
Our lodge pillow covers are designed to fit most lodge sized pillows and bolster cushions up to 920mm L x 550mm W. For other sizes see our full range of pillow covers, cushions and covers or our size chart.
Features:
- 3.5 micron barrier cotton fabric

Product Care
Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.
In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
Is it a dust mite allergy?
Frequent sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose and itchy eyes at bedtime are common symptoms of a Dust Mite allergy. You might also cough, have a wheeze or develop eczema.
