Extra wide and long Lodge Pillows are designed for wider King, Super King and California King beds. This size is very similar to the Australian King Size Pillow protector
Like all our pillow covers, it has a zip that is covered by a flap for comfort with an additional internal flap below it to stop any allergen escaping. You simply pop your pillow in the cover, put the flap over the pillow and zip it up. Your favourite decorative linen can go on top.
The 3.5 micron natural cotton micro-weave barrier fabric makes our covers effective, breathable, durable and comfortable to sleep on. Our fabric has been pressure tested with live allergen and has a world wide excellence rating with <99.9 % blocked.
If you suffer from dust-mite allergy, we recommend a MiteGuard pillow cover as the first barrier bedding item. Your pillow is so close to your nose, mouth and eyes as you sleep, it makes sense to stop breathing in those allergens!
- Size: 920 mm (L) x 500 mm (W)
- Uses 100% cotton barrier fabric proven to block allergen.
- 5 year guarantee
- Made in New Zealand
Product Care
Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.
In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
Is it a dust mite allergy?
Frequent sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose and itchy eyes at bedtime are common symptoms of a Dust Mite allergy. You might also cough, have a wheeze or develop eczema.
